About

Join us on Monday, September 15, where we will explore the vital topic of Children’s Mental Health. Facilitated by the Calgary Counselling Centre, this conversation will highlight the unique challenges young people face, and how when a child is struggling, it deeply impacts parents and the broader family as well. Together, we’ll examine the role we all play as families, educators, employers and community leaders in building resilience and supporting the next generation.

The session will feature a 30-minute presentation from a thought leader in the field, followed by an engaging Q&A. Together, we will deepen our understanding of the current landscape, explore strategies to support children and connect as a community committed to fostering well-being across all ages.

About Mental Health Mondays

Mental Health Monday is a monthly event series dedicated to fostering open, supportive conversations about mental well-being in our community.

In partnership with our Mental Health Pillar Partner, Cenovus, these sessions go beyond the workplace covering a wide range of topics that impact both our professional and personal lives. Each month, a thought leader from one of Calgary’s leading mental health organizations will guide the conversation, share resources and be available to answer your questions.

This series is also about building a sense of community—whether you’re personally navigating mental health challenges, supporting someone who is, or simply wanting to learn more. Whether you’re a business leader, team member or community partner, you’ll gain valuable tools, insights and connections to strengthen well-being for yourself and those around you.

Together, let’s build a healthier, more resilient Calgary, because we’re always better together.
