The Calgary Chamber, in partnership with ENMAX, awarded AdaptAbility the 2025 ENMAX Amplifier Fund, providing $25,000 to support their growth. We’re now searching for our next recipient!

ENMAX and The Calgary Chamber recognize the challenges businesses face today in Calgary and want to help.

To support Calgary’s vibrant and diverse small business community, the ENMAX Amplifier Fund returned for its fifth year, awarding $25,000 to a deserving Calgary business, allowing that business to leap to the next level by investing in innovation, technology and leadership.

We are proud to support AdaptAbility and congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition.

You do not need to be a Calgary Chamber member to apply.

Eligible businesses must:

  • be an existing small business;
  • employ between 10-100 employees;
  • be able to demonstrate industry leadership and innovation;
  • be able to demonstrate positive impact in the Calgary community; AND
  • be able to demonstrate clear business goals and how you will achieve them.

The ENMAX Amplifier Fund was created to recognize an individual or business that displays innovation and leadership—two vital traits for Calgary’s future.

The 2025 recipient has been announced. The 2026 recipient will be announced next year.

AdaptAbility

What: Providing high-quality, hands-on products and resources for individuals with special needs — from sensory toys to daily living aids — to help families find solutions that truly fit.

The Goal: Expand product offerings, grow community programs like Sensory Santa and Sledge Hockey Try-It Day, and deepen partnerships to make inclusion more accessible for all.

2024

NuLeaf Farms

What: Combining technology and plant science to increase operational sustainability and produce safe, reliable food for communities.

The Goal: Growing their team and expanding operations to support more farmers and communities.

2023

North Water

What: Curbing plastic waste and quenching thirst via Rocky Mountain water bottled in 100% recyclable aluminum containers.

The Goal: Hire 60 Calgarians to sustain growth, pledge $3M to Alberta First Nations clean drinking water.
